disfuncion erectil tratamiento When a person goes through a traumatic or devastating experience, it helps that there are people standing by his/ her side to share the pain with, to talk with or just people who will be there whose presence can make things more bearable. Whatever the bad experience is, it always helps to know there is a helping hand that can guide one into the path of light again. Usually, these people are family and close friends. But in some cases they are support groups; a group of people who share a common or similar experience who know exactly what it feels like to be pitted in a particular situation. They can help each other cope with the changes by simply sharing about their experience. This is the aim of Alopecia Support, to encourage patients to talk about the disorder, the changes they go through so they can help each other in alleviating the emotional and psychological weight of suffering from a condition called Alopecia.

Alopecia support has three main goals and those are to support, empower and inspire Alopecia sufferers. One notable effort is Charlie's Angels which is the collaboration between NAAF (National Alopecia Areata Foundation) and its Spokesperson, Charlie Villanueva. Charlie Villanueva is an NBA player for the Milwaukee Bucks. He himself has been diagnosed of an autoimmune skin disease that caused him to lose hair in his scalp and other parts of his body. He is one of the 5 million North Americans suffering from a condition called Alopecia Areata at the age of ten. His condition has developed to a more advanced disorder called Alopecia Universalis. He is now twenty three years old. Charlie's Angels serves as an inspiration and motivation for children growing up with this disorder. His aim is to show these children that even though they have a condition it should not stop them from reaching their dreams as he has. He wants to show that even though one may lose hair, it does not necessarily mean that one loses his life ahead of him/ her.

Charlie's Angels conducts Meet and Greet programs which brings together children suffering from the disorder and their families. During the 2007-2008 NBA season, Charlie and the Milwaukee Bucks brought local children and their families to watch their road tour. Showing them that they are not alone and that despite their misfortune, like Charlie, they can still make their dreams happen. Aside form this program though, Charlie's Angels continues by making efforts to educate the public about the condition and raises funds to increase support to these alopecia children.

There are other alopecia support programs offered by NAAF and other organization which raises concern and provides all the support they can give to Alopecia cases. They serve to bring people affected by Alopecia and their families together to walk hand in hand to battle with the adversity. They bring inspiration to thousands if not millions of lives. They aim to encourage these individuals to move on with their lives and to bring out the message that losing hair does not necessarily mean losing one's hopes and dreams.
